The Metropolitan Police Service worked with eight other police forces on a joint operation to target county lines gang activity on our road networks and the associated violence this criminality causes. More than 200 arrests were made in the operation which involved more than 1,000 officers. The activity focused on arterial routes and motorways in and around London such as the M25, M11, M4 and M20. It resulted in:
230 arrests for offences including attempted murder, drug and weapon possession (including firearms) and possession of criminal property.
22 knives/weapons recovered
54 vehicles seized
62 other illegal items such as drugs seized
